Spring Lawn Application:

Spring crabgrass pre-emergent to create a barrier at the soil surface and stop spring emerging crabgrass.  Slow-release premium fertilizer to stimulate early spring green-up and stimulate new growth after winter dormancy. Early spring weed control as needed.

Late Spring Lawn Application:

Slow-release premium fertilizer is applied to drive roots deep and prepare your lawn for summer heat and drought stress, plus a FREE low-rate application of our TURF GROWTH REGULATOR to reduce excessive surge growth. Organic soil conditioner. Weed control treatment for nuisance spring broadleaf weeds such as dandelions, wild onion, plantain, hairy bittercress, chickweed, henbit, clover, and others.
*Clover control requires this application plus the summer application.

Summer Lawn Application:

Controlled release lawn nutrients to extend nice color, improve heat tolerance. Broadleaf weed control treatment for nuisance weeds such as spurge, purslane, plantain, oxalis, speedwell, and others. Second clover control application.

Fall Lawn Application:

High-rate of premium fertilizer to restore color and stimulate root growth. Organic soil conditioner to feed beneficial microbes in the soil and help turf recover from summer stress. Fall broadleaf weeds are treated. This treatment will also reduce spring weeds.

Late Fall Lawn Application:

Late fall / winter guard fertilizer is the most important fertilization of the year. Extends fall color. Stimulates dormant season root development and nutrient uptake to improve density and color in spring. This fertilization treatment is a precursor for a healthier lawn the following year. Reduces severity of early spring red thread fungus.

Insect Control:

PEPP ~ Pollinator, Environment, People, and Pet friendly insect control to protect your lawn from lawn damaging insects such as lawn grubs, chinch bugs, armyworms and billbugs. Acelepryn insect control is used because it provides superior results while having no adverse effects on people, pets, wildlife, honey bees, beneficial soil microbes, butterflies, earthworms, etc. It is also the only grub control product that is not required to be watered-in right away. 

Turf Tea:

Turf Nerd's proprietary "Turf Tea" includes an inoculation of beneficial microbes and organic soil conditioners to increase beneficial microbial and earthworm populations in the soil. Thus, improving soil structure, nutrient utilization, infusing oxygen into the soil, relieving compacted clay, and reducing thatch, making Turf Tea a superior alternative to core aeration.

Supplemental Premium Weed Control:

Herbicide resistant weeds such as wild violets, ground ivy, thistle, and nutsedge are very hard to control. They cannot be controlled with a single application (without harming the grass) and require a series of herbicide applications with a premium weed control applied between two regular weed control applications to maximize reduction of these weeds. Otherwise, the regular weed control only injures the herbicide resistant weed, but it recovers and continues to grow. In some cases, this regimen is required for several years.
